Hi All!
I have AHP running on an old 386 at my house and my IP providor changed IP address on me, when the cable modem locked up. I was able to reboot the cable modem remotely and get everything else back up and running, EXCEPT for my remote access to AHP on the home PC. I have a batch program that notifies me when the IP address changes, so I just need to update AHP or X10 Site with it. Where can I change my IP address to the new one that was assigned to my cable modem (remotely of course). I can not locate it anywhere. I tried a few searches, but came up with nothing. I am thinking that it needs to be done on the X10 site and not the home PC. Any assistance will be GREATLY appreciated.

I just thought of something.. will rebooting the AHP main PC and restarting AHP/remote resolve the new IP assignment issue?

A reboot should solve the issue.

THANK YOU,
Now I just need a power failure :-)
This PC is one of the only things that is not X10 controlled.

WOW!
What are you running, Windows 95? You can actually get a 386 to run AHP?

Running XP on a Compaq 386 with 512mb of ram. AHP runs fine! 24/7 .. automatically restarts everything after power failures... just forgot to put it on a X10 module.

I believe AHP was originally designed to run on 98 so a stripped down XP install runs it fine.
I run AHP as well as PCC (http://forums.x10.com/index.php?topic=14508.0) with XP embedded on a Thin Client.
