Title: TC284 Programming Software
Post by: virtualnomad on January 24, 2015, 01:16:49 AM
I am very new to X10 and inherited a whole assortment of controllers. All working well enough however I have a TC284 8 button wall mounted transmitter/controller and am having trouble working out how to program it. I need some software to send custom codes. Any ideas?

I have a CM19E on my laptop and TM13 to put the signals onto the powerline using the firecracker software to send codes. My issues is that to program the TC284 it states you need to send custom strings of commands like A01 or A[1]0100BB and the firecracker software only lets me send A1-ON or A1-OFF, Dim etc but not any custom codes.

That being said I am also not 100% sure using the above setup the commands are working, even attempting basic A1-ON or off seems to be problematic

Any ideas on software or approach

Thanks in advance

Pete

Your best bet is to contact the manufacturer.
