I have 5 PR511s all set to the same code and would like them all to turn on when 1 turns on. Is there a way to do this?
Best Regards

Do you want to do this strictly with AHP and a CM15A or use the built in Motion Sensor options built into the PR511A?
Manual if you need it.

I don't think that the PR511 can do this alone. Leviton did make a model 6417 based on the PR511 that had this feature, but it is now discontinued. I use a pair of 6417s at home and they work well.

This redesigned Leviton X10 Motion Detector has a feature not available on the X10 PIRs. Multiple units set to the same house code and unit code operate as one system. This is achieved by the fact that these units send the X10 "hail acknowledge" code every 6 seconds while motion is sensed, triggering a two-way response. When these units receive the proper signal, they will all turn on (or reset their timed off if they are already on).

I am running AHP and using a CM15 and don't care how it is done. Looking at the PR511 it seems like one can not sent out a code that is being used by the PR511 for turning it on-off.

Given that the manual lists the CP290 (discontinued 20+ years ago), one might surmise it's a bit outdated.

That is correct. The Leviton 6417 I mentioned sends out HailAcknowledge on its own house/unit code when it sees motion, but the PR511 doesn't do that. (I just verified with my PR511.)
However, you can use one of the SENSOR switches to send a command to a neighbouring unit code. For example, if your PR511 units are set to A5 and you set the SENSOR/+1 switch to IN on all of them, any time one of them is triggered by motion, it will send A6 ON and, once the TIME DELAY has elapsed, it will send A6 OFF. You could create a macro in AHP that is triggered by A6 ON and sends A5 ON, which would turn on the floodlights on all PR511 units. It is important that you also create a macro that is triggered by A6 OFF and sends A5 OFF, or all of your lights will be left on indefinitely.
One thing I found out with my Leviton 6417s is that if you send an OFF command to its address, it won't trigger on any motion after that until the TIME DELAY elapses. I just tested this with my PR511 and it doesn't seem to do that, so hopefully you won't have that problem.
The Leviton 6417 was a more elegant solution for the need. Too bad none of these are made anymore.

Good idea but I thought the macros would no longer work in AHP. When I bought AHP years ago got all the plug-ins and when x10 went south so did the plug-ins.

You can create macros in AHP without any plug-ins. There is a Smart Macros plug-in which adds conditional macros, but you don't need it for something this simple.

You may want to look in Tuicemen's forums and here.
There are ways to get AHP running on new computers.
I believe the plug ins that did not use the X10 Servers. Like Smart Macros could again be used.

The AHP installer Authinx offers actually contains Smartmacros as well as some other plugins you just need to run AHP LifeJacket (http://forums.x10.com/index.php?topic=28994.msg162407#msg162407)to unlock it.

Did the macro thing and it worked great. Had no idea one still could use the macro in AHP.
Thanks for the help

I have AHP running now and would like to add the smart macro, where can I get this and can I just add to AHP I have now.
-
Smartmacros is activated with an edit to the ahp_plugin.xml file which AHP reads on start up.
The code is already in the AHP dll file
if you used the latest AHP installer the smartmacros info is already in the ahp_plugin.xml file.
if your AHP was registered prior to x10WTI going under you'll not have this and require to use AHP lifejacket to re-register AHP.
