Hello All,
I have a X10 WS13A in-wall switch installed for my front door/court light. I also have a Transceiver Module (TM751) along with an MS16A ActiveEye Wireless Motion Sensor. The setup was working fine until recently I added a ZWave GE In-wall Switch next to the X10 WS13A, and the X10 is not responding to the motion/Transceiver. I plugged a lamp to the Transceiver and it works when there is motion. But the WS13A is not turning on/Off once the sensor sends the signal. I have a hunch that the ZWave switch is Noisy. does any one know what the issue might be?
Thanks
Oscar

It is possible it is killing the X10 power line commands.
If you disconnect the ZWave switch. Does the WS13A work again?
I bought a few ZWave switches to see how ZWave worked.
Mine have a AC rated, across the power line capacitor in them. To keeps it internal electrical noise off the line. Since ZWave is RF only. Killing power line signals is not an issue for ZWave.
If yours have a capacitor across the power input. It is possible it is absorbing the X10 power line signals.

Thanks Brian for your response.
I have yet to disconnect my Zwave Switch, but that is my next troubleshooting step. I just wanted to see if anyone in the forum has experienced this issue.
I will let you know.
Thanks

I have not see any reports of ZWave issues with X10 power line signals. It is a possibility.
If the ZWave switch has a safety switch on it to turn it off when changing a bulb. That switch should also disconnect it from the power lines.
