Title: Hello!
Post by: BURKEphotos on May 29, 2017, 08:27:21 AM
Wanted to say 'Hello' to everyone!  Been an X-10 user for about 35 years.

Recently had the good fortune to be given $1,000s of dollars of X-10 equipment of every type imaginable some still in original packaging.  Looking for an owner's manual and came across this forum. 😊

Welcome aboard,
The X10 wiki is a good place to look for old user manuals and such.

Glad you found us.
If you have real old X10 devices that may not have manuals in the wiki.
Some of us may possibly have some archived.

It is sad when an X10 user passes away.... or even just gives up on X10.

The new modern IP addressable modules offered by everyone (and their Chinese Uncle) and really nice... at lease while they are still supported. But X10 devices (particularly the CM15A) still have a lot to offer any decent smart home/automation set-up.

Many of us... myself included... have mingled and merged our X10 with other flavors of automation products. But X10 still has a large and rock-solid place in my set-up.
