I need a new power-line signal analyzer, but I'm having trouble finding one.
Years ago I bought the handy one from Monterey Instruments, but the feature I need right now to diagnose my coupler/repeater ("Signal Dissect," which shows voltage and bit value from every half cycle through the last entire 22-cycle transmission) doesn't work now -- perhaps never worked, but I never needed it before.
Are there alternatives or new makers for this equipment? -- jclarkw

Sometimes they pop up on ebay but I'm not aware of any currently in production.

Thanks, brobin, for quick reply! Does that also apply to the XTBM-Pro (which I just discovered)? It appears to do the same job, probably better. -- jclarkw

Yes, the XTBM Pro is out of production but Jeff may still be able to help you. You can contact him through his site at jvde.us or he'll probably respond here next time he checks in.

A customer asked me for PCBs so he could build the XTBM-Pro for himself, and I ordered a small batch for him. He decided to use the extra PCBs to assemble complete units. I worked with him to provide the components to do so, including the jig to drill the holes in the cover. I don't know the current status of that project, but if you contact me privately I can provide his email address so you can contact him directly.
FYI, I am in a similar situation with XTB-IIR PCBs, and have the components to assemble a few more custom units.
