Title: X10-Pro : Per your request, We listed Problems
Post by: arf1410 on October 20, 2005, 01:41:25 PM
As you requested in your post in the Last
Update... topic, we listed a variety of
issues to be fixed.  Can you now please
comment as to which ones will be fixed in
the update, and when / how the other issues
that aren't being fixed in this update will
be addressed?

Ok....

I will prove that I am incredibly stupid by
asking, meekly, "Posted where?"

Thanks,

Ken

Sorry...

I read the subject and thought that I was
missing an X10 post.

I now, sort of get the feeling that these
are X10 users just talking to each other.

WE ARE ALL MISSING THE X10 POSTS

'Sorry for the confusion girls and guys.

X10 forume, the proverbial black hole in
the universe. Everything gets sucked in,
nothing comes back out

The way to get action from some companies is
to cost them money - phone calls, emails,
huge faxes, returned products, deterred
customers, the press, holding back on
placing new orders, endless questions,
returned X10 spam emails asking for more
info etc. etc. It all costs them money, and
when it threatens their bottom line, THEY
WILL fix the problems.

Is this how far we have to go to get
feedback and action from X10?

To the X10 customer service manager: Next
update, when?

You will not see another update of this
package from X-10 unless it is needed so
they can sell us another plug in.

Just look at the original Active Home for
the CM11A.  It is a buggy piece of garbage
that alot of us have been using for years
and years.  They still haven't gotten that
to work completely right!

As long as people keep buying it and not
returning it when they find out how bad it
really is, X-10 will not fix anything else
in AHP!

My 2 cents worth!

I have been using the CM11A for about 3
years, and have not encountered a single
bug, or issue that wasn't a function of the
limitations of the X10 protocol /
technology in general.

As for the CM15A, I can understand the
business decision not to add new features
or general upgrades, however, the
unwillingness to fix specific problems
really bothers me...

X10: It really is a simple question. An
educated estimate would help.

I think the light's on (via a manual
switch), but no one's home.
