Title: Importing AH files
Post by: tom on November 30, 2004, 11:12:22 PM
When importing AH files all brightness
settings are 228%, off times are changed and
sensor modules appear as lamp modules but
with no image.

What version of ActiveHome Pro is this? If
it's 3.170, can you send your original
ActiveHome files (both .x10 and .mac) that
you're importing for us to take a look here?

If you send the original ActiveHome files
that cause the crash to ahpsupport@x10.com,
we should be able to identify and fix the
problems pretty quickly. Make sure you send
both the .X10 and .MAC file -- both are
required to load the data.

Here is some advice I got from AHP support
in an e-mail.
They let me know that if my AH file makes
reference to a macro then the *.mac file
must be in the same folder as the *x10 file.
I never realized that the *.mac file
actually contains the macros in AH.
The macros are in the main AHP *.ahx file
not in a separate file.
I hope that is helpful and that I've got it
right...if not, I'm sure that 'X10 Pro'
will clarify the issue.

Using V3.175 of AHP.  When attempting to
import files from AH, AHP will crash.
