Hi X10 guys,
1) Since version 3.174, I have some
RUN32.dll errors when i'm using AHP
software. Each time it occurs, AHP doesn't
start and I have to redownload the software
upgrade via this link :
tivehome/ahp_updt.exe)
to make it work again.
2) Problems with flags in smart macros :
I'm not able to clear some hardware flags
when I use them in macros.
Monitored House Code Flag Status shows some
flags ON forever ??? (Report status)
Example of flag that never become off :
Macro trigger by C15 :
Trigger Conditions C15 on and
Flag Status off - 5
End trigger Conditions
Set flags [5]
Dim fixture lavage by 5%
Wait 10 minutes
Dim fixture lavage by 50%
Wait 2 minutes
Clear flags[5]
Turn fixture lavage off
The flag 5 doesn't come cleared after this
macro has been triggered. Why ?
Thanks your support !

X10 Support: XP sp2, v3.174
I have the see the same thing happenning
sometimes, but most of the time it works.
I have a back door motion sensor (D2) that
trigger a conditional MACRO (D2), that
checks the flag status, if off and between
7am and 9pm: the flag is set, chime on
(B16), robo dog on (P1), wait 5 sec, chime
on (B16) then wait 1 min, clear flag 1.
else same process except with out the
chimes.

X10 : i'm using XP sp2 on P4 2.8 - AHP 3.174
N.B. > Flags can be cleared if I unplug the
CM15A from the outlet and remove the batteries.
But when I do that, the Status report shows
all devices abd monitored modules reseted !

Robo-Dog Barking Alarm Kit

I can already do that with the (very
limited) SDK. It is one of the few things
you CAN do with the thing. Just fire off a
wave file repeatedly. My whole house
reverberates with "INTRUDER ALERT" (from
the old Berzerk arcade) when someone
invades a protected "zone" during
sleep/away mode. I mixed an alarm sound
with it and it is quite intimidating.
What's scarier? A mutt or killer robots?

7 years ago there was no SDK
-
one other thing, Robo dog is standalone,
does not require AH, AHP, SDK, PC or
anything else but the motion sensor. Of
cource I would like X10 to add sound, the
only problem doesn't it require you PC on
all the time.

David Mark:
Can you post your sound file trigger code
somewhere for download? Its sounds like
something that I could have lots of fun with.
Thanks

There are certain flags to avoid using as
the SW uses them 1,15,16
