I have tried and tried to get your software
to install on my Pentium IV running Windows
XP for Home. Everytime I try it will pull
up the registration screen and generate a
Microsoft error message at the same time
and shut down the program. Please advise.

Mike B: Download the latest update here:
http://software.x10.com/pub/applications/activehome/ahp_updt.exe
And run it. Does that help?

I have this same problem with both the
downloaded version and after the update. XP
throws and exception as the registration
screen appears.
-
In case anyone is interested, the content of
the error signature is (with the update):
AppName: activehm.exe AppVer: 3.0.0.179
ModName: ahp.dll
ModVer: 3.0.0.179 Offset: 00153650
** or using the initial 3.168 install:
AppName: activehm.exe AppVer: 3.0.0.179
ModName: ahp.dll
ModVer: 3.0.0.168 Offset: 001233c0

Terpnut: Thanks for the details on the
problem. We'll take a look.

I have a similar problem with my computer.
If I open the program it works fine but if
I close it and then try to open it later it
freezes on the splash screen. Once I
restart computer it works fine until I want
to open it for a second time

shappyss: Are you disconnecting the CM15A
from USB after the first time you run the
program? I had a similar freeze on start-up
here and we identified the problem. It should
be fixed in the next release.

I'm having the same problem. I think they
are working on it...I hope.

Nelson: I believe we have that problem fixed,
and it should be resolved in the next update.
