Since the Firefly is really an X10 product, I
thought I'd ask this question here.
I can't seem to get the Firefly and AHP
software running on the same machine. If I
install Firefly then AHP, AHP will knock out
Firefly, and if I install AHP then Firefly,
Firefly will knock out AHP.
Any ideas on how to get them to peacefully
co-exist?
This wouldn't be an issue if the CM15A ran
it's macros properly without being connected
to a PC!!

John: I'm trying out this combo here today,
and will let you know what I find a little
later. Are you using the most recent version
of the Firefly software? I'm installed one
from January of this year.

John: I've confirmed the problem. It's
something we're going to have to pursue with
Snapstream.

I seam to be having problems with my ATI
remote wonder, that crashes whenever the
CM15A recieves a radio signal, it doesn't
matter wheter the Remote Wonders antena is
pluged in or not. It seamed to be working
ok until I installed service pack 2 on
windows xp pro, and then update ATI Multi-
media center to 9.03(I think).
I tried reinstalling the Remote Wonder
Software (newest a mounth ago or so, I do
not know about know.) Then Active Home
crashed whenever I started it. (not sure if
that fixed Remote wonders crashing or not)
I tried reienstalling Active home, but no
luck I finally had to do a system restore
to get Active Home working again, and I
just finnaly gave up on Remote Wonder and
disabled it software from loading at start
up.
Any body else with problems?
Thanks

Try installing AHP after you're done
updating/installing the ATI software, and it
should work. We made a change to ActiveHome
Pro a while ago to fix an incompatibility,
but it still requires AHP to be (re-)
installed after the ATI stuff.

A fix would be most welcome. For now, I've managed to
get it all working by connecting the CM15A to the PC in
my office, then using a Firecracker on the conference
room PC to send an RF signal to a TM751, who's signal is
then picked up by the CM15A. Phew!
Thankfully, the Firecracker works with the drivers that the
Firefly software installs.
