Title: Battery Powered Tranceiver

Understandably, the motion sensor can last 20
hrs on battery. But with prolonged outage,
how long will the tranceiver last? Can the
tranceiver be DC operated?

Actually the motion sensor lasts for months
on batteries (mine does anyways)... The
transceiver seems to last several hours (at
least 10 from one outage we had) on it's
nine volt battery...
