I'm trying to replace my existing light
switch with a remote dimmer ws467. The ws467
switch has a blue and black wire and my old
switch has a white and black and a copper
wire. Sine the the ws467 has only 2 wires,
what do I do with the copper wire. Also the
switch is mounted in a plastic box.

Is the copper wire bare? If so was it
connected to a screw on the frame of the
switch? Most likely a safety ground. If you
can somehow get it under one of the mounting
scrwes for the new switch as you said the
box was plastic. If it was not connected to
a ground screw on the old switch hold off on
what I said.

Thank you, Brian H
Yes,the copper wire was connected to the
switch and it was bare. Will try to mount it
with the new switch.
Thanks again.
