Title: RF Interference

Does anyone know what RF frequency the DS7000
uses and where it is documented? I am soon to
hookup a wireless network and want to be sure
there will be no interference problems. Thanks.

Search of the FCC database shows that the
remotes and sensors, use the standard X10
frequency of 310 Mhz. Note X10 Transmitters
are not high tech. Tests have seen the
frequency of some devices be +- .750 Mhz. or
more from 310 Mhz. Some Hunter Remote Fans
also use the same 310 Mhz. just to add spice
to the mix.

Easiest way to get FCC Data is a link on the
mbx-usa.com site as I bookmarked the FCC
site but it is a long string. Anyway in the
search page use the FCCID on the back of the
unit. B4S is the X10 prefix I have seen on
all the devices and then the rest is typed
into the remaining ID area. Some newer
devices in the Details tab actually
have .pdf file with things like schematics,
parts lists and photos. Older units have no
details. mbx-usa.com also has links to other
things like protocols etc.

Good; Now you only have 2.5 Ghz phones etc.

Fortunately, my cordless phone is 900 MHz so
guess I'm safe there. Here's my RF setup
based upon your info:
X10: 310 MHz
cordless phone: 900 MHz
wireless LAN: 2.4 GHz
