Post by: sid on February 28, 2005, 10:12:45 PM
Does anyone know how to add a pause when
programming a series of numbers into the
auto dialer?

I have the same question.  An automated phone system
has just been put into use, at my place of work.  The lag
time from the ringing to the pick-up is approx. 3 secs,
where just punching in my extension acess my office.
I'd like to be able to program my office number as well as
my cell

When you use a regular dailup modem you can
add a coma ( , ) for a pause of one second.
but its a command that the modem was
programmed for. Unfortunately the auto dialer
does not have does commands programmed into
it. So no luck unless you are a electronic
wiz and you can program the microchip to
accept a code for a pause.
