order very quickly and completely. But, as
I told him the most impressive thing I found
was the X10 Knowledge Base! I have
prototyped a basic two camera wired system
to help with answering the door safely.
Manual controls for cameras, outside lights
and a motion detector to know when someone
is present. The prototype has worked so
well I am expanding to six cameras and
adding additional motion detectors. In
planning the installation I had many
questions about pin out and why sometimes
modules work and sometimes they don’t.
Within one hour Knowledge base answered all
my questions and even provided me with
additional information (like I didn’t know
the cameras could be focused or do you
really need to use the plastic cap the comes
with the camera?) I am very pleased with
the X10 products and service! And my family
is much safer because of them.
