I have AHP and am running into a problem
with lamp modules. I can turn operate the
lamps with my key chain remote, with no
problems but the Controller isn't doing the
job. I was looking a tthe reports
summaryand it shows hat the signal is
supposedly being transmitted. However, I
notice that Monitor House Code Settings was
showing OFF. Might this be a problem.
Let me add that I syand right beside the
controller, with my trusty key chaion
remote, and and the remote works. I can
click the module icon, via computer, and
thiongs DON't work. So, I am assumong
thatthere is smothing wrong at the
controller? Yes, I have reinstalled, I have
unplugged, I have replaced batteries.
Getting a little irratated here.
Thanks for any help

I noticed I had my controller plugged into a
power strip and it was not working, until I
removed it from the strip and plugged it into
the wal directly, apparently there was some
surge suppression in the p/s killing the x10
signals.

OH yes. A surge strip or computer power
supply alson with many other electronic
gadgets can suck up X10 signals. I had to
add a 10 amp X10 type filter to my APC
BX1000 UPS before my controller got any
range. Doug if your interface is in the same
circuit as the computer. If possible try it
in the same outlet with the computer
unpluged. Maybe a test timer in the
interface can be used as the computer would
be unpluged. Note OFF is not the same as
unpluged. Many supplies are always running
in standby.
