Title: SS13A and CM15A
Post by: john on November 30, 2005, 10:12:27 PM
I can turn a lights controlled by a wall
switch off/on by a plug in controller or
through activehome or a command uploaded to
the cm15a but the lights will not respond
to a command initiated by the ss13a even
though activehome sees the command from the
ss13a.  Why does a command from ss13a not
get executed by the cm15a even though
activehome says it sees the command?

OK. In the AHP software. Tools tab. Hardware
Configuration Tab, Tranceived House Codes.
Make sure the house code of the SS13A is
enabled. If it is then you have an RF range
problem.

Brian - I think you should go back to
keeping track of the number of times you
repeat this information. Maybe you could get
X10 to pay you a stipend as a
contractor "customer Support" rep   ;-)

I know this is an old posting but ran across the same problem as john and thought it may help someone in the future. I recently purchased the SS13A to control a new module. It was the first module I attempted to control on the B housecode. The module worked through AHP but when the new SS13A was used, AHP would flip the switch in the program, but had no effect on the module. A and B housecodes were both checked in AHP but the Auto button was selected. When I switched from Auto to Specific and re-downloaded into the CM15A the unit responded as hoped. Worth a try if you are having troubles with this.
