Hello all.. Got a fairly wired and automated house here, been using X10 for years.. Back when the CP series was the PC-X10 controller to have ;)
We are mounting a wall lamp, and I want to wire it up internally, so no cord is seen. (familiar with doing this, don't worry!). Problem is, I can't seem to find any product to use "behind the wall". Where can I find such a thing? Thought I'd try a wall outlet module, but the one here at the local shop doesn't have any external connections other than the three wires for hookup. No screws for the terminals inside, no "user" access, short of breaking the module apart, which I don't want to do. What can I use?
Thanks,
Rooster

Have you looked at the Socket Rocket (LM15A-C). It screws into the bulbs socket and the bulb into it. It does cause the bulb to stick out a littlefrom the fixture so it is not suitable for all applications. You might also want to check out the X10 pro line they might have what you are looking for.

X10Pro makes two fixture modules. Made to be installed in a fixture or electrical box. Maybe that would be what you want.
XPDF is a dimmer version for Incadescent type lights
XPFM is a relay type for nondimming Incadescent Lights and Inductive ones like Low Voltage and Fluorescent lights.

You can find installation instructions also on that site. They may assist you in seeing if that would work for you.
I have a few of the XPFM modules in their boxes right now for future use. Can dig one out if the install sheet isn't clear enough on things like the size of the module.

don't use the socket rockets if you want dimming ability! they are on/off only
