Title: DS7000 external armed confimation
Post by: Sonic on April 15, 2006, 03:18:17 PM
Hi,

I did a search and didn't find any info, so I thought I would post a new topic.  I just got a DS7000 and am looking for a way to turn on /activate a macro from within AHP(or something) when the DS7000 gets armed.  My idea is to flash a light when the system gets armed, so I have some visual confimation from outside the house.  The reason being, my garage door has a sensor, the "nicer" key fobs only arm instantly, and the garage door is ~always~ the last to close.  Any ideas?
Thanks.

Sonic,

I put a light with an x10 light module in a place that I can see from outside.  So when the system counts down the light is on and when it goes off I know the system is set..well, it is supposed to be.

That's exactly the idea I had  :)  I don't see anyway to implement this though???  Can you give me more details?  Thanks!
