Title: Timer not turning lamp modules on
Post by: kemaggard on May 02, 2006, 11:34:42 PM
I have two lamp modules that will not turn on with timers on the computer(X10 Pro). The computer timers will turn them off as scheduled if I have manually flipped the switch on the computer.  Both locations did work at one time.  I have changed out both modules and still can only turn them on with computer and then the timer will turn them off as scheduled. Thanks

Most likely a signal problem. 1st thing to try is to move the module closer to the CM15A and see if it works.

Strange that it will work from the software interface but not from a timer, but I tend to agree with Steven that it is probably a signal problem.  Check out some tutorials I wrote on Phase Coupling (http://kbase.x10.com/wiki/Phase_Coupling) and Powerline Noise (http://kbase.x10.com/wiki/Noise%2C_Noise_Filters_and_Automatic_Gain_Control).

In Timer Designer for those modules, what's the timer command line(s) read?
Also make sure "Store in Interface" is checked for each event.
