The clear covers for the buttons pop out from the front, then you can change the labels.

You're right, the documentation doeesn't explain how to do it even though they include a card with some sample labels.

But the current ad for them says you can use a paper clip to pop off the covers.

They must have come out with a "new and improved" model with a hole or indent for the paper clip.  The SS13A's I have require either very strong fingernails or pliers to get a grip on the plastic cover.

Nope, no improvement ;D  But I found that using fingernail in the middle of the top or bottom of the cover seems to work best.

Has anyone ever noticed that the dining room label is misspelled "DINNING ROOM"?  ???  I can't bring myself to use a misspelled label so I guess I'll have to freehand that one.  ;)

Some large holiday "dining" experiences might be "dinning" ones also. ;)
(P.S. Thanks for the observation. I had it misspelled in my AHP.)

I find the simplest thing to do is compose and print all the labels from scratch on a sheet of paper and then cut to size.  For one thing, the font size used on the preprinted labels supplied with the SS13A makes them difficult for me to read in dim light.  And I don't need "DINING ROOM" when just "DINING" serves the purpose.

::) Thanks for this thread.  I felt like an idiot not knowing how to get those covers off.  A strong fingernail in the middle of the top did the trick.  Simple now, but seemed so hard before when I was trying to pry them off!
