I bought several external black motion sensors.. when I come in the driveway AT NIGHT I want the lights inside to go on .. because there is a street light near my garage there is some light and the motion detector does NOT triiger the x10 modules. I don't want it to go on when it is daylight so what can I do to remedy this problem. What external x10 motion sensor is available with a dial for light sensitivity?

I don't know that any of the X10 motion sensors have adjustable light sensitivity but if you have AHP you could set up a macro that would only turn on the desired lighting when there is motion and it is night time.
You might also try searching these forums, I believe there is a post that describes how modify the sensors to make changes to the light sensitivity.

SEARCH is your friend ;) :
- X10 Motion Sensors - Comparison (http://www.activehomepro.com/sensors_compare.htm)
. - X10 Motion Sensors - List (http://www.activehomepro.com/sensors.html)
Personally, I only use PR511s outside (except for the MS12 in the Mailbox ;) ). Adjustable angle, motion and light sensitity, hood, hard-wired does it for me.

I stand corrected. I completely forgot about the floodlight units. Thanks for getting the correct info out there TakeTheActive.

I thank you.
I have a question about motion sensors. If i have a motion sensor near the garage door and i want several lights to go on in the house what is the best way to do it. If i have a motion sensor and i set it to b1 when there is motion b1 will go off i could make a macro that says if b1 goes off then send on to b5 and b7 too or is it better to make the sensor c1 which is a dummy and make dummies for 5 and 7... thanks

My suggestion would be to step back and do some reading: TTA's X10 Troubleshooting Tips Thread (Read 403 times) (http://www.x10community.com/forums/index.php?topic=9899.0)
And it's NOT because I wrote it and I'm on some kind of ego trip. But, that, as a Newbie, you need to have a better understanding of the BIG X10 PICTURE before you start asking questions like: "What's better - Vanilla ice cream or chocolate?" ;)
There are *SO* many ways to accomplish the same task, so which is best for you? Well...
- How big is your setup going to grow to?
. - How much time and effort do you want to put into it?
. - How strong is your technical ability?
. - etc...
