Title: VT38A flood cameras
Post by: alcap on November 12, 2006, 09:58:39 AM
I purchased two flood cams VT38A's around 2 years ago.  Just got around to installing them on new house.   Cams worked fine for about two weeks, then no signal.   can't get camera's to work. flood light activation works fine day or night.  alcap

Sounds like your receiver, or a connector thing from here. A long-used trouble-shooting practice, is start where something works. Then follow it till it stops working.

It would be hard to believe two cams could fail at the same time. My 1st step would be check to make sure the receiver has power and that it's antenna is directed towards the floodcams. check all video connectors.

I also feel it is related to the receiver maybe a cat/dog (if you have one) has chewed the wires!
Or your receiver power supply has failed!  :( ;)

I had set a receiver behind a large TV cabinet..... who would have known wife's vacuum behind furniture!
