Title: To those that have given Unhelpfuls! ( SNIPERS)

Since very few If any users Private Message someone before they ding them and it is obvious that the karma thingy is here to stay how about a thread where you can post why you give "Unhelpfuls"?
or at least vote on why?

I've added some reasons which might cause one to ding a user but if others could post some other reasons I can add them to the list!
I've left room for 14 possibles and you can vote on all 14.
Lets give some of these users an Idea as to why they are getting dinged with an Unhelpful ;)
If you don't want to post here (afraid it will draw attention to you?) then   Private Message Me  with some ideas for reasons even if they weren't a reason you used! ;) :D ;D

Wonder how many users even know that a PM is available?
I just started to look at my sign on screen to see if I had one. No wonder some folks thought I was ignoring the PMs. ::)
Personally I don't believe in the whole karma thing and some trouble makers just like to see some of us through a temper tantrum!

• In the Toolbar above, just under SEARCH, CLICK on PROFILE (2nd from right).
  
  
• On the left-side, under Modify Profile, CLICK on Personal Message Options
  
  
• CHECK the boxes for:
   
   - Notify by email every time you receive a personal message.
  
   - Show a popup when you receive new messages?
  

and you won't miss any more PMs! ;)

Good point for those that don't know how to PM a member click on the users name a window will pop up with the users stats under which is an added info box
Click "Send this member a message"
Note: you must also have the option to receive  messages turned on in order to receive a reply! as pointed out by TTA

This may be the case for some and perhaps the administator can check into that! some one only voting negatively could have the privilege removed!
