Title: Smarthome SocketLinc Dimmer
Post by: steven r on January 30, 2007, 01:10:02 PM
Has anyone tried the SocketLinc Dimmer (http://www.smarthome.com/2454D.html)?

Seems a little pricey. Maybe for a hard to read location that needed a dimming option. It says it's rated for up to 150W when used in an upward position. Problem is most hard to reach applications are not in an upward position.

Got mine and sent it back. It did not even do what the users manual said it should. Manual said remembers its state on a power loss. It did not. It always went to FULL ON even if it was completely off. >:(
