Title: Solution needed for Wireless Audio Problem
Post by: aggieauctioneer on March 09, 2007, 04:53:17 PM
I am trying to find out if x10 makes a product, like the Video Sender, that can "Audio Send" a signal to my AV receiver (not just a couple of low power speakers).

I am not referring to the SoundPower product, as I need ALL my speakers controlled wirelessly (even the L-C-R speakers, which SoundPower does not do)

Thank you very much, in advance, for your help.

Rick

I don't know of any product that will send more than two channels of sound. You could try two sending units (like sound power or the video sender) and send on two different channels (like A & D).

However there is drawbacks with that also. When it comes to quality sound... it's hard to beat wire.

I use the Audio/Video Sender & reciever I got with the Lola program here. I have the video connected to the TV but the audio is connected to my JVC receiver which can only accept a stereo input in all reality, like a turntable - cassette - CD player input unless you use a S-video cable, but is still only stereo. The JVC reciever does the rest to provide the output to my surround sound speakers.
