I think you should put on your sales page,
looking for beta testers. I will be happy
when I can connect and it would work like
advertised.

Don't hold your breath on an answer. I
called today after I could not connect from
the server for a couple of days after no
answer from emails. just held on until I
talked to a person. They said they had
known issues with the software on X10
server. They did something there and it
started working like advertised.

I am still having a problem connecting re
video from remote. It seems to stick
at "sending video" on the host and "video
connected" on the remote.

In addition it seems to take forever to
connect to MyHouse Service on my host.
Sometimes disconnecting and reconnecting
works.

Moises: This looks like the main AHP system
isn't connected to the MyHouse service. On
the computer running AHP, make sure you
choose "Connect to MyHouse Service" from the
MyHouse menu.

All: I'm back in town and will work on
getting the server stability problems resolved.

I am having a problem with MyHouse. It
worked once and I have been unable to get
it to work again.

Connect through AHP and it ends by
saying "waiting for remote users"

Try logging in from remote logs in okay
says Authenicated etc. then sits there
forever
saying "Waiting for system 8175A1FAD4..."

This is getting annoying I know for a fact
it worked once uesterday but hasn't worked
at all today.

Any Help please!
Jeff

I'm a long time X-10 user and recently
ordered the My House online system and have
a quick question.  What function does the
server @ X-10 provide?  Does it actually
relay all the information or does it just
provide enough information to allow you to
connect directly without a server in the
middle?  If X-10 is acting as a relay
service, I won't invest a lot of time in
setup, if it's just connection tracking
that keeps X-10's cost down(bandwidth and
servers are not free)and there is a better
chance that the service will be free for
longer.

I spoke too soon. Your all right video is
not working today. ummm.....
I hope this service of x10's really starts
to improve.....it's sure not looking good
for them when they keep having internet
service interruptions, (myhouse service
down or partially down)

X10, I believe it would be a good Idea to
let buyers know that if you work in a
company with a descent Firewall. This
remote X10 client is Blocked by any
adequate Firewall setup. There needs to be
a better solution to connect from remote
without having it blocked by a Firewall. No
security conscientious company will open up
these specific 80 & 8001 ports for this Non
Work related Client. I had no idea Myhouse
online package would be useless to me from
remote. This Firewall restriction is not
listed anywhere in the Sales Pitch.
Hopefully a Peer to Peer solution will be
developed.

We're working on figuring out what the
problem is. We don't want to have these kind
of interruptions, and it's important for us
to get them resolved.

Drum: The X10 MyHouse service does relay all
the data through our servers. This works best
for most of our users, since it works through
NAT and firewalls, etc. We don't have any
plans to start charging for this service, but
we are planning on adding the ability to not
relay through the MyHouse service when possible.

Will MyHouse work directly through a local
area Network. To allow multiple PC's to
have access to the features and cameras. Or
does it have to relay through x10's servers
in order to work.
