...CAUTION: The transfer limit on a free Geocities site is 4.2mb/hr which means it can only accomodate about 9 viewers per hour. So, if you get an error message come back later. I don't think it will get clogged up, but if it does it should be over in an hour or so.

Nice system and documentation!. This should be posted on entry to the forum to show what can be accomplished with X10 and the CM15a.
Seriously guy, you've got it all going on here:
1) 10 Rf transmitters.
2) 2 Rf transceivers.
3) Heating control.
4) Filter locations documented.
5) You remembered the Christmas decorations (I always forget these).
6) Surge protectors (including whole house) documented.
7) I especially like the reference to the "workshop" (soft spot for me).
Really nice layout and presentation. In your previous life your were a NASA systems engineer, correct? Nice to know that some of us old timers haven't fallen behind the times. Thanks for the shining example and the links.
One question - what is the LR closet (living room?) controller used for? Scaring friends or programming the interface??

Thanks for the kind words Boiler. The controller in the closet is just stored there until it's needed. It's used when we're away on a trip. We bring it out and put it on the kitchen counter for the person who comes in to feed the cats. All our lights are on house codes C & D. There's already a controller for C in the kitchen and this gives them one for D. When we tell them the two "All Offs" can turn all the lights in the house off if the computer system goes haywire they seem very reassured about coming into a computer controlled house. Although the two controllers can only handle 16 devices individually the "All Offs" handle all 32. As far as we know the cat feeders have never used them.

If you've downloaded my free ZIP file of X10 symbols for use with the program EDGE DIAGRAMMER this is to let you know I've added three more symbols to the set. There have also been quite a number of (small) changes to my X10 system diagram since it was first posted. If you haven't looked at it before there's a link to my Forum Home Page in the first post in this thread. You can get to all the diagrams, downloads and references from there.

Good stuff Oldtimer, Another method to acquire symbols, that I've used, is to use Microsoft Paint. I've created several circuit diagrams of my house and have included X10 symbols for cameras, switches, appliance and lamp modules, motion sensors, RR501, TM751 etc. by doing a print screen and then copying the file into Microsoft Paint. By highlighting the symbol I can save it to another Paint file and then reduce it to the proper size. You can use the X10 sight or use the modules in AHP to get the symbols. The modules within AHP are especially good. The finished diagrams are very useful when troubleshoot.
