Title: Radio Shack Alarm
Post by: uptownvideo on July 09, 2007, 02:48:56 PM
I have the Plug n Power Home security System and am aware that I can't add external sirens to it.  I saw this product on the internet that sounds like it hooks the security system up to a computer.  Could this help me with programing the external sirens to work properly?

Looks like the older Active Home Interface CM11A with a RS Part Number. It could control your Security Lights like any other X10 Module. I doubt it would trigger from the Security Console and sound a siren as they need a cycle of on off signals to trigger.

Which RS Console is it? The older one I believe will trigger sirens the 49-1000 does not as it sends two security addresses and the sirens get lost on the second address.
