Title: Trouble with remote dimmer WS467
Post by: walkert1 on August 21, 2007, 04:39:38 PM
I want to be able to turn on a series of turbo fans with a WS467 (wall switch) and mini transceiver combo.
I hooked up the WS467 in place of the standard wall switch but I am only getting ~80volts at the fan receptacle.
Is the WS467 automatically set to the lowest output at the factory?

The WS467 is designed to only work with incandescent light bulbs.

I think you are kind-of lucky there was no fire and smoke.   :o

You need a switch that is designed for the fan load. X10 WS13A; X10Pro XPS3. Both have a mechanical switch in them that does not dim.
Note both need a Neutral Power Wire in the switch box.
