Title: Camera gain is 2 high
Post by: grantl on September 15, 2007, 03:48:23 PM
I just purchased 3 more X10 cameras and found that the whites and even just light areas of the picture are washed out.  Only video in deep shade seems to be usable or at twilight.  My old X10 camera did seem to have some sort of AGC.  When you move it around you can see the variations in brightness being compensated for.  With it I can, at least, distinguish blue sky and clouds etc.  The new cameras do nothing.  Sky and some objects on the ground even on a cloudy day are completely washed out.  Does anyone know if you can you adjust the gain of these devices?  I just need to optimize them for the areas they cover.

Are they the same model as the older ones? Can you give us the model number to better help with your problem.
