My goal is to get emailed if/when my DS7000 alarm goes off.
Puck helped me quite a bit. I now have a macro that emails me when a particular door is opened. That door is NOT part of the DS7000 alarm.
I have a macro that flips flag #1 to on when a monitored door is opened AND the system is armed. I have another macro that looks at flag #1 and if it's flipped to ON, it sends me an email, then flips the flag back to off. That 2nd macro is addressed to L5 - the same house & unit address as the DS7000.
It runs when I manually turn on or off the DS7000's security lights (L5).
How can I get a macro to monitor the Flag #1 constantly or at least every few seconds?
Thanks!

There is no easy way to do this. Use an "armed" condition in your macro so it only runs and sends an email when you want it to. OnAlert has a built in Armed condition, or you can set a flag to represent an Armed state.
