Title: Circuit board on XCam2 Camera, Model XX16A.
Post by: soulignymk on June 19, 2008, 03:33:15 PM
I despirately need a wiring schematic or just a photo of the XX16A Camera. After purchasing one as a gift, I tested it today only to find that the audio didn't work. After opening up the camera, I found one of the microphone wires was not connected to the board. If I only knew where it was soldered to the board, I could re-solder it. I've already posted to X10 customer service, and they claim they can't help me. Twice I've been referred to the FCC and told the information is there, which it is not.

Please...could someone just send me a picture of the circuit board? Any help would be greatly appreciated.  :'(

Hi...I Have the Same Problem, almost, With my x16 wide angle cam.
I don't need audio, but 2 wires came off the main circuit board.
i have, over the year accumulated about 50 of the x10 standard wireless
and wired cameras.Normally when i have this type of prob., i simply compare
it to another in the parts box.
I only purchased one "x16 wide angle".....and i don't don't like to play "triesies".
can someone help with a pic or wiring diag.?
thanks....Dennis

Look at the FCC ID number on the camera.
Go to the FCC Database the use B4S for the Grantee Code
Then just type the remaining product code in the Product Code Line.
It should find your camera by ID.
Then pick details and it should give you a list of files. Including schematics and internal photos.
If your ID is not there. Try using just an X in the product code and it will find all the cameras available.
Looking at them may give you some clues.
