In looking over the My House Online, the system requirements seem rather narrow. Are they saying that you must have a windows machine running internet explorer only? No Firefox? No Mac? No Linux remote access?
Very Curious.

............ No Firefox? No Mac? No Linux remote access?
Yeah.... X10 just failed to serve the less than 1% of the internet population that uses the odd stuff. Or.... read HERE (http://www.x10community.com/michaelm/2007/03/linux_x10.html).

Are you calling my Foxfire "odd stuff"? :)
While Foxfire users currently exceed 10% of the market, I too was unable to get My House Online work with anything other than the IE browser.
FYI... In this review (http://reviews.cnet.com/4520-10442_7-6656808-1.html), cnet reviewers clearly picked Foxfire over IE7.

In the "hay-Days" of the odd browsers.... they never attributed to even 3 percent. But I guess that 90 percent of stats, can be made to say anything.... fifty percent of the time.
I also am a veteran of the "browser wars".... and the side I was on didn't win ether. But there was a winner.... let us not pretend there wasn't.... I am too old for that.

I don't mean to demean Foxfire.... it was way ahead of it's time. It's lack of quantity of users doesn't reflect it's quality as a program.

My kids converted me. I was a die hard IE user for a long time.
