Title: Vanguard XC21b PTZ camera need advice
Post by: Becaris on October 15, 2008, 11:46:12 AM
A friend gave me a used Pan/tilt/zoom camera.  On the bottom it says that it is model XC21b.  He gave me NOTHING else with it.  No power supply, nothing.  Just the camera.  I'd like to get it working so that I can view it from an internet connection.  So... what do I need?

1) What kind of power supply?  Voltage?
2) What other hardware to receive the signal from the camera?  (it has a transmit antenna on it, but I don't have a receiver).
3) What device to hook it to a computer to get it on the internet?
4) What software to view it on the net?

Any help or advice would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Wow.... zero response.  So no one knows anything about this kind of camera?  It will be a shame if I have to junk it.
