The XPS3 is not a two way communications type switch. It does not send an X10 signals when it is manually turned on or off.
What are the other switches model numbers?

Just a thought,
AHP has 16 house codes however it only monitors one of them. Is your new XPS3's house code the same as the monitored house code? If not you can not expect to see it when you toggle it manually.

Till Later,

The switch is not a 2-way switch... Like most of X10's new wall switches. AHP will not see the manual button being presses same as all the local sensing of modules.. If you turn a light on by the switch built in to the lamp the x10 module will let the light come on but AHP will not see it.. no matter what house code is being monitored.

This is one of the down falls to X10 But with the price of x10 stuff comes lack of features..
