Title: Siren activation
Post by: greg1 on April 13, 2009, 01:40:31 PM
I have a PS561 Voice Dialer Console and would like to activate a external siren I have from another system.  The other system is radio frequency . Is the best way trial and error through all the numbers and letters or is there a better way?

Thank you for your help.

If the "other system" siren is activated by RF, you can't use the PS561.

PS561 sends PLC commands over the homes powerline to activate the X10 siren (not RF). Additionaly it does not send the conventional House Code, Unit Code, command, but instead sends House Code ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON-OFF which activates the X10 siren module.
