Title: MT12A Time Setting Resolution
Post by: wilkinson.james78 on June 08, 2009, 06:28:40 PM
What is the finest resolution one can achieve in setting times on an MT12A timer? (Time setting down to the minute is what I want 9:03am or 9:03 pm instead of having to resort to 9:00 or 9:05 or 9:15 or some other value)

One Minute Intervals. So 9:03 PM is legal. I just rang a chime module, with an MT12A, at 8:15 PM, 8:18 PM and 8:20 PM as a test.
You can set a total of 64 timered events on any of the eight addresses it can do. Same House Code A-P and Units 1-8. No Units 9-16 on the unit. Technically you could have all 64 timers on one address. Like A1 On and Off a total of 64 times during the 24 hour period. There is also a Security Mode that modifies a timed event to vary each day it runs or can be set to run once.

I have not found the MT12A Manual on the X10 Support site, but if you want to look at the X10Pro version it is on their web site.

On the left side of the screen is a choice for installation manuals
I believe the XPMT1 is the MT12A and the XPMT4 is the latest MT13A.
Also this may help.
