Title: xpfm inline appliance module

Does the XPFM handle a 4 bulb t12 flourescent lighting fixture alright without the need for the 'nightlight' hack like with the AM466 appliance modules?

I tested an XPFM Date Code:05A05 and it does not have local control sensing. Just a very small 'am I on or off sensing current'. It hardly even light an LED bulb when off.

I would think it would be fine. As it is marked "Do not mount with in 4" of the Ballast"

Since it is made for inductive loads. I would think a fan would be fine.
I don't remember any messages here with problems with an XPFM and a fan.

You would have to take the physical size in to consideration. So it would fit in the fans base or electrical box it is mounted on.

I did some searching on here and a couple years back people were having problems with xpfm and fans at the in-between speeds.

That could be as the slower speeds may have generated enough noise to make them flaky.

I think they were turning back on if the fan pull chain was set on speed two or three. X10 is so inconsistent in their manufacturing, I bet there is a lot of XPFMs that have "local control" enabled.

Everything went fine and works great with the '09 model of the XPFM on both a 6 t12 bulb fluorescent fixture, and a ceiling fan/light controlled by the XPT
