Title: Pa5800 Medical Pendant - wrist strap pendant?
Post by: TonyGotaTruck on March 13, 2010, 12:12:31 PM
I am new to this site. I have looked for my answer but nothing so far. I sell the PA5800 Medical Pendant and was wondering if there is a wrist strap pendant that is compatible with the unit?

   Thoughts?

  Thanks Tony in Alabama

No, X10 does not have a "wrist strap" remote for the PA5800 (do they still make it?). Could you glue or otherwise "fix" a watch strap to an extra pendant (ugly but functional).

I have not seen a wrist strap listed either.
I have seen the PA5800 on a sales page.
Since we are volunteers here an official X10 answer may have to come from them.

Forgive me for making light of your project, but it IS shaped like a heart...
Maybe hang it like a charm bracelet?   rofl

Well I take that back...

There IS a wristband X10 panic button:

...and it's only $4.99!

Never saw that one on the site in the past.
Wounder where they dug them up.
Maybe an OEM where there was an overstock.

Only thing is, I would wonder how you'd protect it from accidental tripping.  "Push the face" doesn't seem to hard to do accidentally....   :-\

Maybe it operates like the BIG RED button.
