I just got my new system and installed it, I got just the basic system, one motion sensor, 4 w/d sensors the console and my key chain remote.
Q= How I program the system in "arm home" if I just have my console and keychain remote? the manual says how to do it if I have the handheld optional remote wish I did not purchase, and it does not explain how to do it if you dont have one, or can't you ?
So, meanning that if I arm the system at night before sleep, my motion sensor will be active? and if I get up in the middle of the night for a glass of water the alarm will trip ?

You need the Handheld Remote to ARM HOME........

I looked at the sales site. I didn't see it listed in the kit. You indicated the SH624 was not part of the kit? It is needed to do Arm Home.

I had the same issue and came up with a simple solution. I glued a small magnet to the battery compartment lid and a steel washer to an index card. I use the card to blind the motion sensor when at home. This should also help keep the sensor from running the batteries down as fast as it does not even get triggered.
I also use small rare earth magnets to close the magnet swithches on open doors or windows when at home so that I do not get the hourly chims due to open sensors.

Don't use the motion sensor until you get the handheld remote, and then you can arm away even if you're home :D
