Title: equivalent CM15A device for Europe/Australia? (i.e. 240V)
Post by: callagga on June 13, 2010, 01:09:17 AM
Hi,

I'm after an X10 PC interface so I can create PC software that receives/sends X10 from my PC.   The activehome CM15A seems to do this but it is 110V with US frequencies

Any advice/recommendations re how to manage to get to equivalent functionality of the US CM15A device but in Europe/Australia?  (i.e. 240V)

thanks

Both X10Europe and Marmitec make 240 volt controllers with varied AC plugs to match many countries. I believe Australia is included in their offerings. Both the CM12 and CM15Pro are 240 volt units.

The CM15Pro would also use the 433.92MHz RF used Internationally and runs their version of APH. Their AHP has some features ours doesn't, but also has less plugins. I think I saw that the AHP SDK does work with their version and some here have tried their AHP on our CM15As.

Marmitec has some micro modules that look neat and also do X10.

Try a Google search for X10 Australia. I found a few dealers in your country that carry X10 products.
