Title: DS7000 AC LED

Hello everyone,  I am new to this X10 stuff so bear with me.

I just got a DS7000 system and I'm curious about how the AC LED on the console is suppose to work.  According to the manual, you install the 9v battery and then when AC power is applied, the battery LED will go out.  First of all, the only battery LED I see is BATTERY LOW.  When I installed the battery the AC LED is on even before I apply AC power.  Nothing changes when I plug it into an AC outlet.  AC LED remains on which seems right, but shouldn't it be off when no AC power applied?
