Welcome, Peter.

This is a user forum.  Rarely, if ever, does anyone from X10USA visit the forums.

Often the model number for the "set"  (VK82A) does not match the model number of the components.  The VT and VR stand for Video Transmitter and Video Receiver, respectively.

I tried X10 Wiki http://kbase.x10.com/wiki/VR46A (http://kbase.x10.com/wiki/VR46A) but there is no picture.

The current video sender/receiver looks like this:  http://kbase.x10.com/wiki/Video_Sender (http://kbase.x10.com/wiki/Video_Sender)

Your best bet would be to call X10USA tech support:  800-442-5138
I have also found the online chat useful on the x10.com site.

Good luck   ;D

The VK82A is the part number of the set.
It includes one VT46A and one VR46A
Manual cover shows the two part numbers.
You did get the correct devices.
