Hi I am just trying to Understand the protocol Please help me with this.

I am trying to use a PC and CM15E to controll the switch module.
what will happen if my PC crashes before I give command for the switch module to go OFF.
Is there any way I can manually switch of the switch module manually.
consider the switch module as SW10E

We don't have anything like the SW10E Wall Mounted Motor Drive Switch here in the US and the X10Europe data sheet does not give information on a local over ride switch. It does look like it has two local buttons on it but no information on their function.

If the PC controlling the CM15E crashes. All the X10 modules would stay in their present state. If the SW10E has local buttons. You could use them to change it manually.

Hopefully someone with that device will have more information for you.

Ok can you suggest me the x10 switch in US wherein we can override the state manually

The CM15E and SW10E are both European model devices.
Is your power 240 volts 50Hz?

Ours are all 120 volts 60 Hz. and will not work in most other countries.

The SW10E is a special function switch. Are you trying to do things like open and close a blind or awning? It controls a directional motor by dim and bright commands or can do full on and off commands.

I just read the users sheet again.  ??? The SW10E does have local buttons.
