As of the new 1.9.1 version and new Server version 1.9.0 the UI is now showing current device status if you own a CM15 or CM19.

Any chance of getting Android X10 Commander client on some other marketplace - like SAM (Slideme marketplace)?  I have a Maylong tablet that does not access to the official Android marketplace - and never will according to their support people.

Bummer.  Unfortunately I did not plan on releasing to any other market besides the Android Market because typically each market requires its own set of executables and when I do app updates I would have to update them on every Market etc and it becomes a maintenance nightmare.

Thanks for the quick response! Hey - I understand totally.  Just a downside of the Android ecosystem.

It seems a lot of the AM agreements are between the telephone carriers and Google - so android devices w/o a phone are left out in the cold.

I've been thinking about a ROM upgrade that'll root the thing and also allow AM access.  Guess I'll have to think a little harder about it, because this looks like a great fit for the device.

Best in the new year and thanks for a very interesting looking product!

Thanks for the response and the kind words.  And yes I agree Android is an awesome platform but the Android ecosystem is a mess compared to the Apple iPhone world.    Some of my users are in countries that Android Market does not allow purchase from, so they have to download some Google Code project which fakes out the Market to make them seem like they are buying from the US.   It is a real pain.   Then you add in devices like yours that are not on the Android Market and it adds to the headache!

At least the new Samsung Galaxy Tab is on the Android MArket so a lot of the non-cell phone makers are starting to realize its the Apps that make the platform successful and if you don't have access to the Apps no one is going to buy their device.   At least I hope...
