Title: wireless wall switch - AHP

Does any body know if the PHWO4D wireless switch will send rf signal to the AHP to be able to control a recepticle
Cant seem to figure it out

Yes it can send an X10 RF signal to a CM15A or the CM19A used in some of the lower cost AHP packages.

The stick on switches, the CM15A and CM19A are not known for long RF communications distances. You can do a search here and find threads on both subjects.

The outlet would have to be an X10 or X10Pro outlet that can be controlled by a power line signal.

If the outlet is presently controlled by a standard wall switch. You could change the switch to a non dimming relay type from X10 or X10Pro.
The relay type switches need a power line neutral in the switch box along with the line and load wires.

so the wireless switch can send a signal to the AHP and then the AHP activate a modual or plug is that right?
i cant seem to get it to do that is there some kind of setup or just cant be done

You may need a transceiver (RR501 or TM751) to get the RF signal to AHP.  As Brian H  said, " The stick on switches, the CM15A and CM19A are not known for long RF communications distances".

Check the Tools Tab
Hardware Configuration
Tranceived House Codes
Make sure the House Code you are using is set to tranceived.

In AHP can you see the module activated on the screen?

It is also very possible you have power line signal problems. Where the CM15A sends the command and it gets lost on the power line.

Thanks for all the info finally got it to work
The problem was that it only work's on A1,A2,A3

or M7,M8,M9

you can program it to any three sequential unit codes on any house code.
