Title: Two Socket Rockets and Two Sensors Setup
Post by: lee911 on October 25, 2010, 08:24:41 PM
I have one Socket Rocket (RLM20) that is associated with an Eagle Sensor (MS14A) and both are coded as A1. I then have a Transceiver (RTM75) that is on House Code A. It works fine with no macros or timers associated. I now want to install a second RLM20 and MS14A on the same House Code (A), but have them work indapendently of each other as they are in two different closets. When I code the new ones as A2, then both Socket Rockets come on when either Sensor is triggered. I don't want this to happen. Should I then code the new ones as C1 (most other stuff in the house is on B). What about a Transceiver? Does the Socket Rocket and Eagle Eye Sensor even need it?

Look forward to the help!!

lee911,

Code the second set to A3.

The eagle eye has a light sensor in it that is set to the coded address +1.  Which means each take up two addresses like A1 + 1 = A2.

I am assuming you're sure you've programmed the Socket Rocket addresses correctly too.   ;)

I will try the A3 settings.

I'm not 100% confident I have the Socket Rocket coded properly. I've followed the instructions, but not sure if it worked or not.
