Title: XPS3 Wall Switch Size? Can someone take a photo?
Post by: coolspot on October 27, 2010, 12:18:01 PM
Hi all,

Can someone take a photo the side profile of the XPS3 switch? I just like to see the dimensions of the switch to ensure that it'll fit my electrical box.

Thanks!

X10 has a specification sheet on the WS13A/XPS3 but for some reason shows the WS12s dimensions.
I compaired the photo to one of my XPS3s. It is very close. Just it uses a screw and wire clamp for each connection not the wire showing for the WS12A. If you need an exact dimension I will try and measure it for you.
I have one added measurement you may want. If you look at the back view. It is 2 5/8" x 1 11/16" for the main body not counting the mounting tabs.

Ah good, I was worried there were no screws, because wires + wire nuts take up too much space in the junction box.

Sounds like you have smaller electrical boxes like I have in my house.
I had an XPS3 in one of my bedrooms for awhile.
